Finished this off recently but just noticed a bug that needs fixing. I might do a preview video of this at a later date.

Re: JPI FS-450 Fuel Flow Instrument
Hi Sling,
did you ever find time to finish this? If not, I'd be more than happy to help out. I'm currently in the process of building a PA28 home cockpit and the FS-450 is one of the instruments on my list, as its part of the panel of quite a few planes I fly in real life. As I'm a professional software developer and having written quite complicated AM instruments coding has never been an issue for me, working on the graphics was always the hard part for me.
Best regards
Jack

Re: JPI FS-450 Fuel Flow Instrument
Hi Jack,
I would have to check. I think it was finished but I haven’t done a whole lot of testing on it so there might be some small things to resolve. It was going to be included in one of the panels I was going to release but all that has come to a halt sadly. It’s therefore only for my use I’m afraid.
Thanks for the interest though. Always glad to see others who have some interest in GA instruments.

If you are a seasoned programmer, this very instrument shouldn't be complicated to create.JackZero wrote: ↑Thu Aug 20, 2020 6:56 am Hi Sling,

As for the graphics, it's easy, since there are no moving parts except for the two buttons.
PM me about this.

One hour and a half later, created entirely from scratch (just the graphics of course!)

Re: JPI FS-450 Fuel Flow Instrument
I had a go at the twin engine version , the JPI450M.
The startup and test sequence is implemented, and the automatic sequencing of all the values.
So far, so good, still a WIP, though.

Re: JPI FS-450 Fuel Flow Instrument
More progress on the JPI, now with the real startup sequence, heavily using nested timers.
The behaviour and function is copied on the original manual.
DONE:
-The remaining fuel is now stored in a persistence value, so it can be retrieved at each startup of the instrument like in the original.
-functions FUEL USED, REMAINING, H:M (ENDURANCE) are implemented, with automatic and manual sequencing of each values
TODO:
- GPS connexion for the REQ, RES and GPM (Gallons per Miles)
- Manual input of the fuel added
