I've just found AM's Flight Simulator Data Viewer which of course give me precisely the information I was after, so now well on my way to understanding the ArdSim Scripts. written by ChuckK.

As per thé behavior of the buttons, and even some features, compared to the real instrument, I figured that it varies according to the software version.
In the Seneca I Fly IRL, the software version is quite outdated and some functions or inputs are not the same as the one I tried to model. I worked my way using the user manual(from memory Rev F) which can be downloaded on GITHUB.
Please le us know of your progress

Hi Jacques,

Agreed, it all depends upon which software version is in the EFD1000. I went to have a look at the weekend and found I have Version 2.0.2 also quite dated. Tks for the GitHub reference to the user manual.

still progressing development. keep you advised.............

Actually, Ralph started the whole thing, then I started a complete revamping and adding some functionalities. Now the project is Github for anyone wanting to improve it.

So shoot with your questions, I'll try to answer them if I can.

I saw in this thread that there is an github version of the aspen. I tried today the one which is included in the libary. Can someone tell me how to try the github version or better how to install?
How can I adapt the speeds to the default beech baron? I like to build a hardware instrument for my homecockpit. Is there some one out how is wiling to share 3d print files.

Thank you very much for this great software and thank you contributers

You download the files from GitHub and then place them in the instrument folder. Which is in c:/users/your username/Air Manager/instruments

Please remember: the Github files are a "work in progress".
Though a number of additionnal functions have been added to the original version made by Ralph (All the graphical elements have been redrawn, Bezel added, realistic startup/shutdown sequence, Dual VOR/RMI, etc...), a LOT of functions are yet to be developped/debugged.
What is functionnal at the moment is on the copy of the ASPEN manual included in the Github files, I highlited in green the functions which are OK at that time and work as per the manual.

I put last uear the project on the shelf due to lack of time to work on it, and put it on Github if someone was willing to continue. If so, it can Fork or submit improvements to the Github project, and hopefully one day, we'll end up with a decent version, taking into account that the GPS features won't be implemented due to lack of decent AM navigation functions (maybe in V3.5?)

So don't expect a debugged and complete version, that is the reason the ASPEN improved version never made it to the store as it is unfinished.

Y'ou'll be warned!
