The generic JPI EDM 900 has setting for the max egt and cht temperatures.

I entered 1500F and 600F for the EGT and CHT respectively. When installed in C172SP panel, I get both bars for all cylinders maxed out. There's no way a C172 has temps that high. How do I fix?

Please mention which simulator you are using and if you are using any add-ons. You're leaving us in the dark like this.
You can just fill in a number until it reaches the level you like. I had mine at 4000 for example.
