Re: nice multi purpose billet alloy yoke..
Very interesting... this looks exactly like the handle from my Iris Dynamics yoke...
Re: nice multi purpose billet alloy yoke..
It is indeed the same yoke handle Jack. The pictures do not do it justice, it is beautifully made and I simply do not understand how they can sell it for 99 dollars.
Yes, you need to add your own control switches / hats / buttons or whatever, but the design is SO comfortable.
When did you get the ID Yoke ? - I never quite caught up with their releases as they now seem to have specialised only in their electromagnetic linear actuator and seem to be out of the flight sim business. I always like the electromagnetic approach but the power consumption was always going to be a huge issue. How do you find it ?- it was always a really really interesting prospect.

Re: nice multi purpose billet alloy yoke..
I got the yoke via the Kickstarter campaign which was an almost endless odyssey where often all hope seemed lost... The yokes where orderable only for a short time after the campaign, at a point where only a few Kickstarter units where shipped (with the original plastic handle) as the company needed more cashflow to crossfinance the other kickstarter units... so it's quite a rarity.
