this is a little gem............... Billet alloy, drilled for switches etc. soft feel grips - full spec for experimental etc.. 99 dollars.. amazing value.

Very interesting... this looks exactly like the handle from my Iris Dynamics yoke...

It is indeed the same yoke handle Jack. The pictures do not do it justice, it is beautifully made and I simply do not understand how they can sell it for 99 dollars.
Yes, you need to add your own control switches / hats / buttons or whatever, but the design is SO comfortable.
When did you get the ID Yoke ? - I never quite caught up with their releases as they now seem to have specialised only in their electromagnetic linear actuator and seem to be out of the flight sim business. I always like the electromagnetic approach but the power consumption was always going to be a huge issue. How do you find it ?- it was always a really really interesting prospect.

I got the yoke via the Kickstarter campaign which was an almost endless odyssey where often all hope seemed lost... The yokes where orderable only for a short time after the campaign, at a point where only a few Kickstarter units where shipped (with the original plastic handle) as the company needed more cashflow to crossfinance the other kickstarter units... so it's quite a rarity.
