I found an interesting item on craigslist.. a local school was disposing of a vinatge Frasca 242 with enclosure and a complete set of engineering drawings and manuals.
So for $700 I picked up all of this hardware. Very well put together and I will be attempting to update this beast with an x-plane engine and air manager hardware interfaces. It has a servo motor driven "force feedback" system that looks interesting. The existing control CPU boxes are barely functional.
Does anyone have any experience with reengineering a Frasca Sim?
Fun winter project..
