Im doing this same thing with this monitor, but using a homebuilt knobster to turn knobs.

Just an FYI, I bought a 2418ht and it worked beautifully, but it took up too much space on my ikea desktop. My triple 27” monitor display is big enough to show a readable GNS 530 and I am now back to using a Leo bodnar based switch panel to operate the gps, light switches, obs and several other functions.

I am likely going to use air manager more like air player, on a small monitor to show me my flap, trim and throttle settings which are physically located lower on the cockpit and out of view in my sim.

I fly a GA piper warrior.
