Keep trying.
Keep pushing.
Others third parties already seems to be having something at August 18th which means having access to SDK´s????
FS2020 Area
Re: FS2020 Area
Other parties have a separate plugin application running. We want the plugin to be integrated into the simulator.

Does this means we are not on an "Open" SDK model ?

Re: FS2020 Area
Hi,
There are two ways to communicate with FS2020
- Plugin (automatically loaded with FS2020)
- Separate application (have to start manually, no LVARS (if that is still actually used...) )
The plugin has some serious limitations now, but once that has been sorted in FS2020 is the best way to do it.

Re: FS2020 Area
Does this all mean that upon FS2020 release no existing AM FSX capable panels will work?

Re: FS2020 Area
Hi,
Depends on when they will finish the plugin system.
Kinda thinking of building the application as a temperary thing, but that means I have to port parts to C#.

Only 8 days to go and I'm guessing you will have some work to do before you can release something. Maybe the delay is on purpose so they don't get overwhelmed with support issues.

Re: FS2020 Area
@Corjan Choose the best way. Can not imagine that it will take a very long time before a plugin system will be available. Good to hear you are on top of it.
Re: FS2020 Area
Hi,
There is a new plugin installer available with FS2020 support:
https://siminnovations.com/wiki/index.p ... ugins_BETA
Note:
- Only works with AM 4.0 BETA
- Does not support LVARS
- Instruments have not been updated yet. You can use fs2020 API functions though.
- There is no way to determine if FS2020 is installed (just yet), so the plugin will always be installed.

Thanks Corjan.
Is the source string when using variable_ subscribe() “FS2020”?
