Default XP G1000 Map display issue

Totally outside Air manager,

playing with the Russ's Cirrus SF50 panel, I've seen an issue using the range knob in X-Plane default Cirrus SF50 : absolutely not related to Russ's work and panel itself

It looks like there's an issue when switching from 3nm --> 5nm range or 5nm --> 3nm
before the next map will display with its right range, there's a short flashing display of either the 8nm range or the 100nm depending on the way we switch from one range to the near next :
switching from 5 to 3nm will display shortly the 8nm range while when switching from the 3 to 5nm range will display shortly the 100nm range

Does anyone experiences the same issue ?
I think at some point I will report on x-plane.com by opening a ticket if not already mentioned by someone else

Yep, it does the same for me. The blip is very short though.

I haven't try yet in other aircraft using the G1000, though

Ah yes that’s a good point do other G1000 equipped aircraft have the same issue. I suspect they will. I’ll also check.

Just seen the same behavior, at the moment, in Skyhawk G1000

I've checked that it will affect every aircraft using the default XP G1000
checked right now, with :

• free Aerobask Robin DR401
• previous XP Columbia 400

Seems like it is a bug in the common G1000 code then. I haven’t checked others yet, but I will.

Now tried and confirmed. It's a G1000 bug, All Laminar aircraft will be affected.
