Lighting of physical objects

#1 Post by frumpy »

Hi guys,

I am wondering, how the lighting of the moving horizon in the R44 attitude indicator
is done? See the attached pic.
When there is e.g. a 20° pitch up, the brightest part of the horizon also moves down, as
lighting is static within the horizon. I am thinking of doing a lighting overlay, so the light
stays in the middle. Would that work? And how could I do that? I've got Skinman and Photoshop.

You'll have to put the shadow in front of the object.
