I did a unscripted 4 part Tutorial video about Skinman geared to those who know little or nothing about it but want to get up to speed and create an instrument right away. The production quality is not perfect and I ramble a bit but I hope it is still a good way to quickly get a pretty thorough knowledge of Skinman for creating Air Manager instrument graphics. The documentation is scarce so maybe it can save a few guys some of the time it took me to figure it out. Some of the techniques used may even interest more advanced users.
Part 1- Introduction to Skinman and it's User Interface ( 30:11)
Part 2- Detailed look at Skinman's Primitives, Tools, and Properties ( 56:30)
Part 3- A step by step creation of graphics for a complete Air Manager Instrument from concept to finished graphics (1:14:03)
Conclusion- A tutorial on using the images in Air manager to create a working instrument ( 45:58)

Great work Russ!
May I suggest to your audience the installation and use of my Lua(AM) syntax highliter extension file for Notepad++, which will greatly help beginners (and others) to start programming in Lua for AM, as if any of the AM function is incorrectly spelled, the function text will not be colored in the code, as it is not recognized as valid by the syntax highliter?
It can be found here, and is regularly updated.

Re: Skinman Tutorial in 3 parts
Congratulations for this great work Russ !!
Until now, I hesitated to build a gauge because of the unknown skinman tool and the "how to proceeed".
You have very good teacher skills and those three clips parts car be easily followed and understood!
Thanks for the AM communauty !

Thanks Guys. I have been sidelined a bit for the last three months due to the need to care for my elderly mother. She had a fall in November and broke a vertebrae but is getting back on her feet now. I finally have time for my favorite hobby again!
