Inertial separator sw

#1 Post by k8jb »

This probably isn't the right place to ask this, but does anyone know what the FS2020 variable ID might be for the Inertial separator switch - it flips on the TBM930 but I'm wondering if its just a visual cue and doesn't actually do anything - I can't find any reference to the switch in any of the FS2020 documentation - or maybe I just missed it. Now that I have my Logitech switch panel modded with an Arduino micro, I have a plenty of switches to add!!

First things first.
Does it have any effect on the engine? Namely an N1 drop andcITT rise? This as the inertial sep modifies the airflow entering the turbine and induces a reduction in power available.
If no effect of this kind is witnessed, this is probably pure cosmetic.

Thanks, all, I meant to delete this post because I found the "answer", such as it is, but you got here before I did!
