KI525 HSI question, heading drifting

#1 Post by brlowe »

I have a panel I created with the 525 HSI. The panel is used with MSFS2020. It works great for short flights but yesterday I did a 7 hour flight and the HSI drifted off heading about 50 degrees by the end of the flight. The HSI in the plane was still on the correct heading. Any idea what would cause this and how to correct it?

Thanks

Hi,

My guess is that the sim display is using a different "event" than what you are using.

It's probably using the gyro variable. Gyro's drift.
