it worked Tony thank you so much!

I can't begin to tell you how long this has bugged me in recent weeks. I use the if , elseif statements a lot to send commands to the Hotstart TBM 900 cockpit that I am developing.

I have 4 arduinos and well over 100 hardware switches and buttons, as well as several AM software panels and instruments. The current challenge is to provide different functions to, say a rotary control located on Arduino A by flipping a switch on Arduino D. After watching your youtube video I tried by reusing some of my old code, which must have been the problem.

Anyway your help is much appreciated.

While I am at it, thanks to the folks at Sim Innovations for providing such a great product. I have so much fun working on my hardware projects. Also thanks to the great community who always provide such great advice, help and feedback - so quickly too!

Ok back to programming.

cheers
Ted
