I have been using AM on an iPad with X-Plane 11 for a while now. The Avidyne PFD has worked reasonably well to emulate my flying clubs Archer III. The club recently did a panel upgrade on our Trinidad. They installed a Garmin TXi and Garmin 750. I use Just Flights TB20. I was considering getting a touchscreen and running AM on the PC so I can use the G1000. But will that work since the Just Flight TB20 has steam guages? Would there be a way for me to access a G1000 pop out? I am planning on using RealityXP 750 either on the same touchscreen or a second screen without AM.
What kind of frame rate penalty should I anticipate by running AM on a single PC system? The PC has an i7 & GTX 1080. I am currently getting 40-50 fps.
