This week's problems:
- Preparing for FS Weekend
- Having written a Raspberry Pi image to my external USB harddrive, loosing all video material /templates

I hope to have it all going again next week.

Hi,
I'm new just started with AM yesterday and just wanted to tell you of my experience with Instrument Creation Tutorial. https://siminnovations.com/wiki/index.p ... n_Tutorial

This is a Fantastic Tutorial, well explained and I produced a gauge with Background and needle . Was able to move the needle with test. All within about 1/2 hour. Far quicker than any video I had seen so far.
This format of explaining code is very good .
Great! But it stopped at lesson 4 with this summary:-

Summary
That's all there's to it to create a rotating image. Problems that you'll run into when recreating for example a 'real life' airspeed indicator is that the scale is probably not linear, in the next lesson I will learn you how to solve this. After that we are going to add text to the instrument.
This page is part of the Instrument Creation Tutorial.

As a newbie where do I go from here? How do I finish my gauge? So all I'm saying make sure what you start you finish. It may take me another 8 hours reading all the info. here to work it out.
If I'm wrong please tell me.

Great program and worth every penny.
Happy New Year
Chris.

For more information on non-linear gauges you can watch this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gfABSyd5KsA
In the description there's a link to the video that tells you how to make the exponential start.

After two years our internet connection finally went from a 1 Mbit upload to almost 30. I've uploaded two new videos to celebrate this :) Two new videos were added a few weeks ago.
