Cant install plugin fsx-se

Hi,
I tried installing the plugin (v2.1.4) for fsx-se. But the installer says it is installed for fsx and not for fsx-se. This could be caused by the folder name. I have fsx-se installed in a folder called fsx (so without se).

When i start fsx-se i get this message:

Flight simulator has detected a problem with a third party software program (add on).

File D:\steamlibrary\steamapps\common....\airmanager.dll

Do you want to run this software?


If i run the software, fsx-se wont start and crashes

There's a 2.1.5 beta 2 plug-in somewhere on the forums, it might work better. I can post a link if you want.

Thanks for your help. Unfortunately it didnt work. The new installer installs the fsx plugin instead of the Fsx-se plugin.

Does anyone know how to manually install the plugin? It think it some refers to fsx instead of fsx-se. Now fsx-se wont start at all....

Hmm pretty weird, the plugin shouldn't prevent it from starting. And even it does prevent FSX SE from starting, that would mean that the plugin is installed, and you said that it was not. Maybe you can post a screenshot of the installer log?

You can check in the FSX SE folder, if the plugin is there:
your_fsx_se_folder/Modules/Air Manager
There should be the file AirManager.dll

So first we have to check if it is really there. If it is, we'll have to find out why it crashes. If it is there, can you try to remove it (temporarily), and see if FSX SE starts, so we're sure it's really the plugin.

It does install for FSX SE. Did you try if it boots with this plugin?

By the way, I guess that the screenshot of the details is from FSX SE and not from FSX? Can you post those FSX details too?

The error you're seeing might be that silly black list problem, but I think that Corjan knows. Did you try just letting it load (pressing Ja)? What happens if you do?
