This is a known problem. We're going to check it this week. We'll probably send you a beta invite.

Thanks guys

Hi,

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to reproduce this problem.
I have tried multiple times on my iPad running the latest 13.2.3 version, but it just keeps working...

There have been more people with this problem though, so it really is a thing we should sort.

I am kinda looking for someone willing to let me use there mac computer to diagnose why the iPad crashed.
Would you be willing to let me login to your mac (if you have one) remotely, to see if I can diagnose the crash that way?

Hi Corjan,
Maybe I understood something wrong, but the app should run without x-Plane running to configure the panel?

If x-Plane is runnier I got the information that an update is available. I checked the site and copied into the folder. But the info to update pops up still and closes the app afterwards.

If I did something wrong in general, I have to fix it first.
Next step could be to check via remote.

Hi,

First off, sorry for my slow response.
The iPad app should indeed be able to run without X-plane. It should not crash on startup, this is something wrong in the app.

Please let me know if you are still up for a remote session. You can also contact me at corjan@siminnovations.com to make an appointment.

I have the same issue. It will crash on startup requiring a full reinstall from the App Store. I posted something similar in another thread. That can be closed and I’ll follow here.

I have detected
- after reinstalling from the App Store the application works again
- When I desing a panel with G1000 Crashtender it stops working. This may be the problem.

Hi,

Thanks for your feedback.
I'll test the G1000 this weekend. I'll put an update here when I find something.

Sorry again for the trouble,

Corjan

Hi Corjan,
I'm back from a biz trip and can continue here.

I read N23cm and ppvc and deleted the app and install them new.
Afterwards it's running and you could start placing gauges again.

But if you add in a G1000 or another glass cockpit the app directly crash and didn't start anymore.
Only solution afterwards is to reinstall it again and start from scratch.

It refers to the same issue in the other thread which comes up this week.

Best
