No Screen showing on GNS530,G1000

Hello.
Yesterday I bought Air Manager 3.5 APP for my ipad from APP store.
.
Everything of cessna 172 instruments are working goodm Very satisfied.

I have tried GNS530 / G1000 on to Ipad But does not show screen in the GNS530 or G1000 but all of Buttons and rotary dial knobs are seems be worked fine.

Does anyone know how turn on screen in the GNS530 or G1000 ?

I'm afraid you can't get the GNS 530/430 or G1000 overlays to work with the Apps. They need a desktop copy of Air Manager or Air Player on the same machine as xplane as the display part is a show through from an xplane pop out of those instruments.

It has a message in the screen that explains that it is an overlay. But it still seems that it causes confusion. I think we'll have to remove them from the next update.

Ralph, please don't remove them... they are usefull to control instruments, es. with GNS530 overlay I can't act on rotary and buttons to set instrument that I can show on screen by clicking on it in 3D cockpit. With touch on my iPad I can do without mouse....

I wasn’t sure if the message has made it to the App yet but if it has surely that’s enough. The OP mentioned no display so I thought that inferred no message. Is there a chance he is running an older version?

He said 3.5, so he should have gotten that message. He's the second or third after the 3.5 release, so I don't understand why. People are either running the old version or too lazy to read

Perhaps by using RED BIG font or best a FULL RED BACKGROUND with FLASHING BIG BLACK font

and introduce a second step message saying like this :

"Are you sure you really understand you will not able to use the popup GPS from your X-Plane rig as it's not running on the iPad or on Android

Just an idea though

Just that the RED color add the universal logic that something is going wrong or disallowed somewhere

You must combine the G1000 panels from Russ Barlow and the G1000 Crashtender. Then Primary Flight Display (PFD) works. As Multi-Function Display (MFD) does not work.
