Re: Panel background with holes

If I may add to the question being asked. How do you create the BG panel in Paint or other programs? How do you create the "Cut Out" in the Top Panel? Are there any Youtube Videos showing how this is done or a step-by-step guide for none graphics designers like myself? I would like to create a Pane...

Re: Panel background with holes

Hi Keith, thank you for the explanations which started me thinking. I did some more experimenting. I can do what I want, if I 1) I select black as background color (other colors would show through) 2) I put 0% as transparency for the color background 3) I select a .png custom picture as background (...

Re: Panel background with holes

Hello Tony, thank you for your reply. Then may be I still do something wrong. If I select a background color and set the transparency to 100 %, and if I then add a background picture with holes, I see the background color through the holes but I cannot display an instrument through the hole. The hol...

Panel background with holes

Hello, may be I do something wrong here. I see in AirManager (for desktop) I have three options regarding the backgound: picture, transparent or color. What I really need is, I want to hide the ugly window frames and mainly the top bar, when using an overlay instrument for a gauge that is popped out...

Re: FlightFactor FFA320 FMGS Overlay

Hi Jacques,

thank you for the cockpit video and for your explanations, I appreciate both. I might do some more work on the FMGS overlay at a later time then.

Re: FlightFactor FFA320 FMGS Overlay

I think that all the annunciator lights are missing. Namely FM1/FM2/IND/RDY at the top, MCDU MENU, FAIL AND FM at the right/left sides. Hi Jacques, you are fast! Thank you for testing, I am glad it works. Regarding the annuciator lights: I was not aware there is a function behind those lights other...

Re: FlightFactor FFA320 FMGS Overlay

Hi Jacques,

that piece of hardware you use emulating the FMGS looks impressive.
I attach the overlay here
ffa320-fmgs.siff
(1.47 MiB) Downloaded 60 times
, had trouble to find the path where it is stored. I hope it works.

FlightFactor FFA320 FMGS Overlay

Hi pilots, I have made my first overlay instrument for Airmanager. I have the desktop version only. And I have X-Plane 11 only. The instrument is an overlay for the FFA320 Flight Management Guidance System (FMGS). I uploaded the instrument today and I think it will take some time until it appears fo...

Re: Some Instruments for A320 from FlightFactor

Alexander, that is really a great work you did on the instruments. Thank you very much for providing them here! I have only just started to learn mastering the Airbus A320. One thing I noticed: on the AM instrument I cannot pull and push the altitude selector knob on the TCU. For the other knobs, e....
