Re: Knobster Partially Working Issue

Do you have the AM plugin installed? That's a separate installer from the main application. Without this, AM can't talk to the sim. Considering it's not connecting to the sim, that would be the logical first place to look.

Re: air manager and knobster with bar-style ultra wide touch screen

Very nice.

Unless that plane is a Cirrus, you could add the GMA1347 audio panel between the 2 G1000 bezels. You have the extra space available.

Re: Simconnect lack of variables and events

You can do almost anything in MSFS. But like Sling said, there are some annoying planes that have inaccessible vars that drive us nuts. This is mostly default planes though. When it comes to 3rd party planes, most of the good devs already know this and will either add events or vars to make things w...

Re: Trick against stucking flight controls when mousepointer at cutout

Yeah, it's most definitely not fixed. At least Stanley got POPM working, so that problem for touch users is not really an issue. For Herbert and others using a mouse, this is still a thing unfortunately.

Re: Trick against stucking flight controls when mousepointer at cutout

I'm trying to raise awareness of this long-standing bug directly with the devs in the devsupport forum. Hopefully they can take this seriously and finally fix this long-standing UI bug so these workarounds are no longer required.

Re: 4.2 bugs

@Corjan @Ralph This attitude is what is driving AM users away from the forum and to other sources. ... ... It is unpleasant to post here now and continue to get criticized let alone read Joe's smitten comments on other members posts.. 100% agree with this sentiment, and I've heard that from many fi...

Re: Air manager crashes (RTD) with no information in log file

I'll add my voice to this. Since 4.1.6, I and many others reporting over on our Discord have experienced random freezes and crashes. It can happen at any time at all. Sometimes it works just fine. Sometimes, it crashes on initial AM load. More often than not, it crashes when loading a panel. Panel s...

You should be able to find the parking brake variable in the MSFS SDK documentation here:

Re: Making Bezzels

I do not see either Bonanza specific instruments or generic instruments in Air Manager's instruments. There are generic instruments that will work just fine. There's also a customizable airspeed indicator for which you can set the various ranges via user properties (like setting the G1000 to MFD). ...
