Re: DreamFoil R22 Custom DataRefs in X-Plane

Hi Russ/Ralph, thanks for the help earlier. I have had a bit of time to play around with the coding, and learn a bit about skinman. I plagiarized the face off the existing R22/R44 gauges, from the store, for my second attempt at the carb heat gauge. Not sure on the protocol here. Back home to NZ fro...

Re: DreamFoil R22 Custom DataRefs in X-Plane

Thanks Russ. I had a crack at it tonight, but failed miserably. I fix helicopters for a living, and coding stuff like this is quite new to me. Would you be able to use my example, and modify it to how it should be? Once I see that as an example, I should be able to work through the rest. I am a bit ...

Re: DreamFoil R22 Custom DataRefs in X-Plane

Hi. I have been using DataRefEditor to see the R22 Data refs. This, along with opening the Panel.obj file shows all the required data refs, and custom data refs, and the corresponding gauge movement. The custom data refs for airspeed, and VVI (etc) are straight forward. I modified the R22 ASI (from ...

DreamFoil R22 Custom DataRefs in X-Plane

Hi all, I am looking for information on how to get the custom datarefs from the dreamfoil R22 (X-Plane) to work on Air Manager. I can see the datarefs with data_ref_editor R22/ConsoleGages-[0/10]: R22/ConsoleGages-[1/10]: etc, and have figured out which reference is for which gauge (same with the R2...
