The quality of these printed parts is AMAZING! Can you tell us more about what equipment is used and how the panel oberlay is made? What costs are involved? What software is used to create the model? Are there any places that can "print" objects for a fee?
Thanks

Re: Forum language
English is the international Aviation language so making posts in English could be a great opportunity to practice and learn new aviation terms for those interested in flying. Obviously if someone has no English proficiency that they can post in any language. We just don't want a group from a single...

Re: Dial position mismatch
When you say "still at the former position" do you mean it is not visible (located at 455,455 with the window re-sized to only 280 x 280)? Just wondered how you know where it is if it is no longer visible? The dial image should be scaled and the position scaled too so it is in the same rel...

Raysot Awesome work! You said "Still working on figuring out multi-engine display on PFD. Not sure how this should look as I can't find a good example yet." [/color] I don't know if it will help but here is a link to the manual for Avidyne Entegra PFD operation in the Piper Seneca V and Se...

Re: Adding a fullscreen background
Butte There is currently no way to do that. Hopefully it will come. If your goal is to have the air manager panel completely cover the desktop there is a work around until then. First create a small PNG file of the solid color you want to use to fill any spaces between the instruments. It can be any...

Re: Adding a fullscreen background
Actually the feature you mention will be added in AM 2.1.1 and will allow you to only submit one instrument at a time. To submit a complete panel you would have to first submit all the instruments for the panel (more accurately called a group) separately. Then you would have to copy the group info f...

Re: iPad App In flight
Here's a short video I made operating the iPad app with a simulator (this is a late beta version). This is using my HP all-in-one desktop to run X-Plane so pardon the quality of the visual. One correction in the video: To show the menu you swipe ACROSS from the left edge of the screen to right... no...

Re: Adding a fullscreen background
I would like to see a background object associated with each instrument group. It could be a solid color or an optional png graphic on top of a solid background color. This way you could include the appearance of non-operating cockpit fittings and items to make things look more authentic to the actu...

DIY Touch Trainer
I'd love to have a hardware based cockpit for my sim but it is pretty pricey for me. When I first saw the SimAvio TouchTrainer (FlyThisSim) I really liked the concept. http://www.flythissim.com/images/ttnew/Cessna_VisX.png FlyThisSim TouchTrainer Lists for $8,100 US For one thing it eliminates using...
