Re: Adding a factor to n1 gauge
just an idea to adjust values a few pc points as an easier way to get correct performance figures. It’s really simple. You subscribe to say the Sim N1 data which will already be done if using an existing instrument and then just do whatever maths you want on the value before rotating the needle or ...

Re: REQ: Ability to directly use BVARS
What are the downsides of using RPN code instead of lua functions? I'm genuinely asking because I'm relatively new to AM. There have been times that the rpn has been a lifesaver in regards to bus lookups and circuits which I don't think can be done in lua functions. Other times, however, RPN has be...

Re: REQ: Ability to directly use BVARS
Please remember Air Manager is inherently a Lua based scripting platform. This needs to work using the traditional AM Lua API so being able to subscribe to Vars or write them using the standard AM API functions. which are now working well. 'm sure it can also be made to work with the RPN function bu...

Re: FS2020 Variable Write Bug
I'm not 100% certain of what they have done or are pushing to FS2024 but these new (introduced in SU13 and SU14) so called Input Events are apparently the way to write Bvars as of right now. The names a bit confusing seeing as its for vars but thats MSFS. Totally agree about the complicated nature o...

Re: FS2020 Variable Write Bug
To all following this thread. I believe this is a momentus day because there is a fix. In my limited testing so far it not only seems to fix this long standing bug but also the more serious blocking of other LVAR writes bug that has also been mentioned on these forums. Before i get way ahead of myse...

Re: Air Manager 4.3
When importing .siff files if you only want a couple of instruments from a larger collection you first have to manually one by one unstick all the un-wanted ones. It would be really helpful if there was a tick all/un-tick all toggle for this.

Re: Help for Air Manager Newbie please
Hi Jim, A subscribe is simply as the name implies a subscription. Let’s use a vary basic analogy. If you subscribe to a certain magazine you get a new magazine from them whenever a new one comes out. So in Air manager world a subscription is to sim data (one or more datarefs) and whenever the sim da...
