Re: 4.2 bugs

Clicking on instruments in create/edit has the editor main pane default as scrolled to the end. Was always line 1 previously.

Re: 4.2 bugs

The groups in create/edit are not sorted alphabetically in either the main left pane or from the context menu when selecting ‘add to group’.

Corjan wrote: Wed Nov 29, 2023 3:35 pm Hi,

Yeah, for the first time you have to find them and manually add them to a group, that is true.

Corjan
Try that with over a 1000 instruments especially when you don’t really know what you are looking for.

Re: Recommended size for second monitor

Hi Alan, I recommend dual 20-24” Touch monitors as the most optimum size for the display of my panels (see link in signature below). There are some reasons for this as follows. Using two monitors side by side makes for a size very similar to that of a real small GA aircraft. Using two monitors gener...

Re: Identification of Personal Instruments in AM4.2

Not sure exactly what you mean Corjan Filter by instruments from a certain create/edit group is how I read it. That would help with the selection when adding instruments to a panel but it doesn’t help solve the merging of all the instruments into one big unordered list again in the main instruments ...

Identification of Personal Instruments in AM4.2

I just recently started to use the AM4.2 beta in earnest. I have been following along with the beta’s progression and obviously trying out the new features, but I’ve not really done any day to day work until now. I absolutely love the new groups feature in create/edit it adds much needed organisatio...

Re: X-Plane aircraft selection based on UI name instead of description

The version of sim loaded can be detected easily enough so why not use this newer dataref for when xplane12 or above is loaded and default to the existing one if not.

Re: Ideas on Air Manager's UI rework

Hi, Thinking out loud here, but maybe 'create/edit' should be changed to development. Have heared of people thinking that is the place to design a panel. Corjan This ties in with the confusion users face with 2 places called panels. I’ve said this many times before but I fully agree with @frumpy on...

Re: Air Manager 4.3

Also, how deep do you want to go into it? Speaking for me, I am a fan of the restructuring MS Office got in 2007. I was a quite significant change, but was well done and lasts until today. If that was the update when they added the ribbon then it helps makes Corjan’s point about all users having an...

Re: Exectue B events in 4.2???

Yeah sorry perhaps not 4.2 initial release for obvious reasons but a later update. I’d certainly be interested to know if and when you can get it working and as always, happy to help test if needed.
