Re: How do I rename the Hieroglyphic folder names?

Air Manager’s method of dealing with a collection of instruments such as each individual panel in an airliner overhead is to put them all in a panel. The existing 737 and A320 overheads are examples of this. It’s well established and works.

Re: How do I rename the Hieroglyphic folder names?

Hi Paul, Not sure what you are doing that has you messing with the UUID folders but it’s generally not necessary to get involved with them while developing an instrument. Even referencing them in a panel script is easy enough with the built-in copy UUID to clipboard feature. Perhaps it’s your work f...

Rotate with CCW animation bug?

It would be good if someone else can confirm this. The same behaviour in 4.1.6 and latest 4.2 beta. Image is an arrow pointing downwards. My expectation is the instrument will start with the arrow pointing to the left after the initial 90 rotation. When the button is pressed the arrow should rotate ...

Re: Newbie in trouble?

Hi Norm, Not to worry this is a common problem. It’s not an Air Manager issue but a fundamental issue with MSFS. What has happened is when you disconnected the monitor MSFS is still putting the popout to an x,y position on the removed monitor. Hence you can’t see it. Putting the monitor back where i...

Re: 4.2 bugs

Just seen in 4.2 Beta 35 : just after clearing the search filter, the Groups are re expanded, which indeed shouldn't occurs if we have already made them collapse. (to add to the Groups behavior for 4.2) Yep was going to mention that one as welL. It’s super annoying having the groups expanded by def...

The wiki says you can use it on a panel or instrument. Never really had a need for it in an instrument myself but it’s there if you want it.

Re: Submissions update

I think a lot of peeps are fed up with the submission hoops they have to jump through and are doing their own thing. With no guidelines what you would end up with is a complete mess. You wouldn’t like the state of things If every submission was just uploaded. I mean lots are just clone copies, have...

Re: Submissions update

When next update? I hope before XMAS HOLYDAYS ;) Unlikely. There have just not been any suitable submissions since the last update. When there is they will be included. The new updates are driven by the quantity and quality of the submusdions. If there are periods where there aren’t any there obvio...

Re: 4.2 bugs

Collapsing would be an important feature, which should be persistent accross time, as we not always working on our own instruments on a day to day basis, so I would retrieve the way I let it last time, either expanded or collapsed ... Exactly. I have multiple groups and every time I open AM includi...
