Re: Auto-Detect Input

Remember SI are a very small team. There are things that are not currently possible with AM, so my take is it’s better to develop these first. This self learning idea although interesting i think falls into the “adds polish” category. Meaning we can already add and use hardware so how AM is now does...

Re: c208

Hi,

You need to get creative with the datarefs that are there to get the functionality of the real aircraft. I’ve recently finished my c208 panels. Since this video was produced some instruments have been swapped out.

Re: Panel not resizing smaller - Bell 407

Yep I think that’s the issue. However there’s no point in having the re-scale features if they don’t work intuitively. It’s actually easier to delete the panel and add at a different size than it is to try to use scale.

Re: Panel not resizing smaller - Bell 407

For me adding the panel at the intended monitor resolution by simply choosing that monitor works as expected.

The weirdness I saw was after I reduced the resolution to make it smaller and then tried to go back to the native resolution using the scale function.

Re: Panel not resizing smaller - Bell 407

There seems to be an issue with the scaling. It behaves weird. You should be able to get it to work with some trial and error though The Resize button in the top ribbon can show a different % value to the settings window button if you drag them each to a different value. This can't be correct. Also ...

Re: no hand icon to grab slider

Hi Roxus,

That's because you have the width set to 0. Try increasing to 70 or more. i.e. the same or a bit larger than the thumb image width.

Re: X-Plane11 GNS430/530 on 2nd Laptop

Hi,

You must have the sim and Air Manager running on the same machine for any overlay to work. There is a video on my YouTube channel (link below) that explains this.

Re: Help for Carenado Saab 340B instruments

One of the approaches I use with other aircraft is to read the XML gauge scripts and see how they get the value. Almost all aircraft and rotorcraft can be emulated this way. The only stumbling block is when the manufacturer uses a CAB file to store gauges. Be care in hunting for the XML files, code...

Re: global variables

Hi, Jacques is absolutely right. In this case it’s not the scope that’s the issue but the timing of the code execution. Rather than use request_callback() you should wait until the subscribe runs once before trying to use the variable. You can either use a timer for this or most likely you can just...
