Re: Is there a way to test a knobster?

Hi, In Air Manager, if you select your knobster, it gives the option for the number of detents it has. You could try tinkering with that. Corjan What do the number of detents represent technically? I am not very inclined electronic wise. I didn’t make the knobster but I think it is a PropWash encod...

Is there a way to test a knobster?

Is there a way to test a diy knobster? My DIY one is not acting right. It can behave right for a little while, then as you turn it, it can stop incrementing for a second or go backwards. Could it be an instrument or other software issue? How can I tell?

Re: Knobster back in stock in the near future?

It will be available around mid April. The rotary encoders came in last week, after nearly 6 months (or maybe more I don't remember anymore), the PCB assembly company is doing their thing at the moment, then it is our job to put them together. We already placed the order for new ones. The productio...

Can a RAM mount be added to a base that can fit on a desk? The RAM STL is the only one you have on the wiki. I don’t know much about RAM mounts but from their homepage they mostly go on things like cars.

Re: Any update on Air Manager 4 availability?

In my case I need to purchase them. I am expecting a large purchase of software and panels once 4.0 is released. I’m itching to get started. I have been getting everything ready using the beta versions of the software.

Re: Any update on Air Manager 4 availability?

Will all the premium panels work in Air Manager 4.0? I’m itching for the C172 premium panel.

Knobster back in stock in the near future?

The outlets have kept pushing back the restock dates for months now. Will it really be available anytime soon? Thanks!

DIY 3d printed mounts by Russ Barlow

There is a youtube video where Russ introduces several 3d printed mounts for the knobster. But the link to the 3d designs is dead. The only design I could find is on the knobster wiki for a RAM mount. Can I get a link for the other designs? Of if not can the one on the wiki be used to attach to a ba...

Re: Any update on Air Manager 4 availability?

Are you working on a g1000 solution that will work with msfs 2020? Is it a bezel or the whole screen? Hi, Sorry, The answer is NO. The Instrument is complex enough without trying to accommodate for multi sims. Keith No problem. It’s for X-Plane then? I’ll have to check it out. I mostly play FSX and...
