Knobster diagram on wiki up to date?
Is the blueprint of the knobster on the wiki page up to date with the current shipping knobster? Specifically the placement of the screws? I’m trying to have a wooden mount made and was going to use this diagram as reference to make the screw holes in the wood. Thanks.

Re: DIY 3d printed mounts by Russ Barlow
Does the ramball mount on the wiki page work with the current revision of the knobster? Also is it a B size or C size ramball? I’d rather have the stl’s of Russ’s designs but if this one fits, I’ll try it. Thanks.

Re: Knobster back in stock in the near future?
Yes you can. It'll soon be for sale at XforcePC as well. They're all hand made by family and friends (and us), so it takes a while to have enough stock to ship to XforcePC. Thanks, just ordered one! I hope they are tested thoroughly. I had a diy one that was made for me that had issues as I wrote i...

Btw, it is a long shot, but has the knobster firmware changed at all recently? I haven’t tried reflashing it yet.

Re: Is there a way to test a knobster?
If you are confident the knobster board has been flashed correctly and with the version of AM you are trying to use it with then it’s very probable you have a bad electrical connection or perhaps a USB related issue. For the USB try another port and eliminate any hubs in the current path. Yeah I pl...

Re: Is there a way to test a knobster?
No it’s not pulses per detent. If someone has it down as pulses per detent then that information is incorrect unless propwash have suddenly changed to a totally different encoder. The prop wash encoders I have work in AM. I can’t remember the setting but from what you say it just looks like they ha...

Re: Anyone have an extra knobster for sale? Also when will they become available?
The diy knobster I have doesn’t seem to work properly. Does anyone have a properly working one for sale? I am in the USA. If you make one for me, I will compensate generously. If you have an extra retail one, all the better. Thanks!

Re: Is there a way to test a knobster?
More commonly it’s detent per pulse. All of the AM supported types are like this. Meaning there are a number of physical detent for each full electrical pulse. For instance a 4 detent per pulse type will have a detent between each level change of anyone od the A & B contacts. There is a post I ...
