Re: Txt_add(): précisions needed

Thanks jml I finally bit the bullet and put to use the graphic library I designed last year. I created a test intrument to test strings and fonts and most of all to know the exact boundary box of a test string. As usual, I went more further than I planned... :twisted: I just have to change the test ...

Re: Txt_add(): précisions needed

That reference guide is the one I qualified of "cryptic"! :geek: Thanks for trying anyway, Ralph. Back to trial and errors. Talking about that, I have an idea. When developing in the create mode, the good thing would be to: - Add a pixel grid overlay to the instrument, to help in positioni...

Re: Txt_add(): précisions needed

I guess the style tags are far from straightforward. And especially the -fx-text-alignment:right;" I understand it is related to the CSS format, but the link to the JavaFX CSS reference guide provided in the Wiki is ...somewhat cryptic to say the least. Could you elaborate a bit on that Ralph? ...

Txt_add(): précisions needed

Hello to all I always encounter some difficulties using properly the txt_add() Lua function. I would like some feedback about the way the text box is displayed with regard of the position tag, i.e. "LEFT", "RIGHT", "CENTER". I guess it is also related to the font size, ...

Re: Grob 115e Tutor By IRIS Simulations

Capture.PNG I added the Statistics and the Waypoint pages: Capture3.PNG You can cycle through the three pages by pressing the ESC button. For the later (WPT page) to work, of course some waypoints have to be defined in FSX usisng the navigation menu. Capture1.PNG The definitive version for my part!...

Re: Grob 115e Tutor By IRIS Simulations

No problem Colin Since I had some spare time, I reused my code for the DAVTRON chronometer to create a "quick and dirty" version of the FISLER LX 500 GPS you mentioned, based on the real manual, as a small contribution to your project. Here it is, with a very limited functionality, since t...

Re: Grob 115e Tutor By IRIS Simulations

The only gauge that makes me wonder is the Round LCD one, above the ILS on the instructor's side. What is it (Make/Model?), and what is its function? Interesting to see that this cockpit layout is reversed, when compared to the traditional layout, as I guess that the student pilot's seat is the one ...

Re: Grob 115e Tutor By IRIS Simulations

As far as I can see, most of the basic instruments you are looking for already exist in the store, including the radiosets. Only the Engine gauges seem to be specific to the Grob, and even though, some could probably be directly borrowed from the Cessna 172 engine gauges. You should already start wi...

Re: Six pack in progress

The project goes on.
Here's the Airspeed indicator with the original MILSPEC font.

At the end I will probably add a set of screws for all the instruments.
Now to the Attitude Indicator!
