Re: Six pack in progress

Snake :D I always appreciated the quality of your gauges, and Since my Sim is set to alternate between a Beech Baron58 and B200, I will certainly use your gauges for the 200! In fact I was influenced by this picture of the Integrated System Solution altitude alerter which actually displays the Stati...

Re: Six pack in progress

This depress feature you may wish to add to your altitude alerter as I never got around to it - was a quick and dirty instrument I made to practice IF skills for a job interview - I got the job. Sorry XP-wym, I didn't realize you were the man behind the "Snake Stack" alias, as it is the n...

Re: Tuna Knob

Should be, and at least worth a try. The type of touch monitor is however an issue: this kind of button works only with capacitive touchscreen, like one can find on tablets or smartphones. I have an Iiyama touchscreen monitor which uses infrared sensors for the touch detection, pretty sure this kind...

Fixed LCD fonts vs variable Fonts

Always learning: I had encountered a problem in the Altitude alerter found on the store: The "virtual" LCD digits were "physically" moving depending on the value, ie "1111" was not at the same place as "8888". Very unrealistic. So to modifiy this behaviour bec...

Re: Six pack in progress

Jackques, you are doing really nice gauges, thanks for sharing! I think that I have used this font you showed for years in my panel designs- but it is called MS33558 at my pc- I love it too. I did start my Baron years ago with gauges from TheGaugesFactory - actually a long time ago french discontin...

Re: Six pack in progress

Théo You are perfectly right, and I would go even further, when coupled to a radar altimeter, it will display the DH and radar altitudes when within range. What I was referring to was the behavior of the original instrument found on the store, which is: - for XPlane only - judging by the variable su...

Re: Six pack in progress

The B58 panel is on the way. Still a lot of work to do: 1-I found that the Altitude Alerter needs to be reworked because: it works only with XPlane currently and its behaviour is not what expected (there should be NO relationship with the Autopilot, the Alt alerter is merely a surveillance item) Now...
