Re: HUD, HGS and HCP Project

Hi, Said this before, h264 does not support transparancy. This is also the reason why youtube video's etc never have transparancy. Adding transparancy after the fact, by replacing black with transparant is also not going to work, since it is a compressed image. You will get a lot of artifecting, sa...

Re: HUD, HGS and HCP Project

Well Keith, I guess there's a bit of confusion, this is actually AM streaming not able to separate background from foreground texture itself, which add black background instead of transparency Did you also re done the SHIFT + CTRL + ALT + SPACEBAR and checked again the original texture in -PANELS- ...

Re: HUD, HGS and HCP Project

Gilles, Corjan The texture has no background and a black BG is streamed with the texture OR a supplement BG This is what the actual texture looks like on the Zibo. You can see the HUD top left ice_screenshot_20240127-155438.png This is what we stream, WE stream the texture + the black BG ice_screens...

Re: HUD, HGS and HCP Project

Oh wow Gilles, You just gave me more of an appetite to nag Corjan . He is not going to be happy with you. :D I know that the HUD textures can be extracted from XPlane. The streaming has two parts. The texture and the background. So AM could just stream the texture without the background. (This would...

Re: Video texture streaming

Hi, Will have a look at the video streaming stuff once the core funcationality of AM 4.2 is stable again. Me expectation is that it will take quite some time to get video streaming just right, and stable enough to use in 'real' instruments. Corjan Hi Corjan, Yes I fully understand that. I know it i...

Re: 4.2 bugs

Hi, This one is still outstanding. "Sorting" Whilst a minor issue the sorting is taboo. I am trying to name all my group's in a convention to keep AirFrames together and no matter what I do they do not sort properly. Having to do this because we do not have the facility to groups [Airframe...

Re: Video texture streaming

Eventually it would be better if these G1000 textures are available through the normal G1000 key. But I believe, judging and remembering from what Philip told, is something that aircraft developers have to take care of. Still the texture jump is an issue with aircraft that do not use the G1000, lik...
