Re: Wiring a real C172 Ignition Switch

That standard ignition switch code will not work with a real aircraft ignition switch for the reasons I stated towards the beginning of this thread. You can get it to work but as Ralph said you need to get your head round how the real switch functions. You should be able to make it work with just 3...

Re: Bendix/King Autopilot for X-plane11?

If I had one here, and could get, or at least deduce the custom LCD driver requirements (probably quite easy in relative terms looking at the port usage of the original micro and a 'scope where needed ;) ) . Then I would simply rip out all the FI 'dubious' internals and do it from scratch. A Mega or...

New EU rules regarding VAT, Mail handling costs, import duty on items from outside the EU from JULY 1st

Hi guys. Got an interesting text from CTT -the Mail service in Portugal - regarding new EU regulations for items ordered from non EU countries. It comes into force from July 1st. Just wondered if the other EU guys have got the same info ? Basically, at the moment, any item ordered from outside the E...

Re: Keith 737 mip

Understood Keith - 100% :D REALLY REALLY nice work. A total credit to you. I am Jealous. ;) I have to build a much more generic cockpit as I want to be able to fly a very limited amount of aircraft. Primarily the twotter, the 172 and maybe a 737 - preferably the 200. So it has to be a total compromi...

Re: Keith 737 mip

Wonderful brother :D Just a question if I may ? Did you 3d print those yourself ? - it looks like you maybe did due to the layout of the design (although they ARE excellent quality !) or - If they are the CSP panels ? did you order the centre console panel kit unpainted ?. Unpainted doesn't include ...

Re: VOR-DME-Tacan instrument development

Nice work John. I have the 3.12 version of the OLED with the 16 pin connector. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005001636682084.html?spm=2114.13010708.0.0.46aa4c4d6cylpL After looking at the units, and also knowing that it is so easy to damage an OLED (or indeed - LCD) with too much local heat) I de...

Hi Brady Just for info, they are not the same, but they are a great value selection. :) By not the same, what I mean is that you only get three units of the type I posted above. You would need to consider your usage scenario. The 12 pieces supplied are 3 of each of the following (from what I can ded...

Re: Generic Pitch Trim Hardware with Arduino Mega 2560

There's a hardware function for this. But there's a bug that does not let you select the pins. It's gonna be fixed in the next release, this week. Hi Ralph Can you please point me at what you mean by a hardware function for this - are you talking about the purely global encoder ? HW Dial add ? Joe.
