Re: VID66-06 Questions and wrong code in Tutorial

Seems to be a problem with several of those VID6606 boards. I did exchange them and either everyone of them has another kind of problem or it is a strange bug.
I did exchange the arduino boards as well with no different behaviour...

Re: VID66-06 Questions and wrong code in Tutorial

Perhaps the statement about the calibration timer is wrong. Today may gauges are turning backwards over the time also the timer is there...
Will investigate this further...

VID66-06 Questions and wrong code in Tutorial

Hello everyone, The tutorial for the X25/X27 seems to have a problem: hw_stepper_motor_position(stepper_rpm, nil, "ENDLESS_CLOCKWISE") This line needs to be in a timer function as well. Otherwise my needles always drive in that direction after the 3 secons of calibration. For example when ...

Re: Aerowinx PSX support

It is a real 747 cockpit mostly interfaced with other solutions I do not know. I am pretty experienced with Air Manager so I would prefer to use Air Manager for further features implementation.
I have other projects with real cockpits succesfully converted with X-Plane and MSFS...

Re: Aerowinx PSX support

As far as I know they have quite a good interface to communicate - PFD/ND and other screens on other computers is no problem. Using a real printer for the cockpit too. There are several methods of using real hardware or self built hardware is no problem. I may be support such a simulator and am thin...

Re: Aerowinx PSX support

The PSX is the most realistic simulation of the 747. Some cockpit Builders use it and it can be combined with MSFS or XP for the visual.

Hi everyone,

Is there a possibility to use Air Manager and Air Player with the PSX simulator of Aerowinx?

Thanks and greetings,

Marcel

Re: Stepper Motor - which drvier?

I hope you can view this video from Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/reel/ChUx5fYg-2f/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y= When the props are coming out of feather, you can clearly see the needles not running smoothly. This has to be an issue of coding, issue of the driver or a combination of both. As the stepp...

Re: Stepper Motor - which drvier?

Are you not the chap who did the lovely little Neon simulator with and LED ? Not difficult coding, but very very good coding and solution. ;) Yes, that was me. As I have done similar things for add-ons in X-Plane or MSFS, this is not so difficult for me. The creativity is there. Using a AM Output P...
