Re: Air Manager panel disconnects from MFS2020.

Re: is there a way to save a text or csv file from AM ?

Hi I am going OT here but it is related to saving persistence and file manipulation. Lets take a simple 7 segment . We could use this bin and then just map each chip output ... img1.png Am I missing something if a .json could look something similar.... byte segCode[11][8] = { // a b c d e f g . { 0,...

Re: is there a way to save a text or csv file from AM ?

Wow Joe, That last post grew as the day got longer.😂 I get the path you are exploring. For me, I do not understand why AM has to use arduino library and load them taking up memory. Simply loading a .json pointing to a chip make and configuration could save memory and provide ease of adding many chip...

Re: is there a way to save a text or csv file from AM ?

Joe, That should be easy to do. As long as you understand lua tables and .json file structure. This test example takes data from a .json file and add it to a persistence file. Run this instrument and then check the persistence file .json You can manipulate the data as you want and use it then save i...

Re: is there a way to save a text or csv file from AM ?

Hi Keith, I am persistent  Can you explain a bit more please ?. I have a setup program in development that reads inputs from a 128 input card. It doesn't matter what connects to what pin as the pin number will be highlighted when the input is activated, for instance, if I press button X or act...

Re: Use AFL Data Ref to modify guage

Hi,

Yes the "interpolate" can be expressed as dirty in your opinion.
However it is a table and can have many layers.

There are math alternative, We would all welcome and appreciate these should anyone have input.

Re: Can LUA code make this switch work?

The DME power switch was my first successful script, but of course had to base it on the battery switch example. Baby steps..... Thanks for your help. Last piece of this complex puzzle of all white pieces is my much more complicated autopilot. Hi, I tend to create "INSTRUMENTS" in section...

Re: Can LUA code make this switch work?

After closing out of AM and starting up, I still have the overlap of one switch to the other. However, now I dont get the same error but the hardware slider is now gone. image.png Hi, You are not running the instrument. ALL hardware switches need to be in the same instrument if run via create/edit....

Re: Formula 1 .....

A Fokker here and A Fokker there...That joke is stale.

But could a company of the status of NGA enter F1 with two talented drivers?

https://www.ngaircraft.com/

Do we have instruments for this? ;)
