Re: 3-way switch without Knobster

Hi, By default AM will not apply the knobster focus to anything less than a 3 way switch so normal up/dn or left/right toggle switches do not need to use knobster. Note that you can force these to give knobster focus in code. Dials and switches of 3 ways or more will always take knobster focus. The ...

Re: General Helper Library

Hi, There is a Lua file in the AM directory tree where the current helpers such as var_cap(), var_round() etc are located. I suppose they could be added there but they may get overwritten during an update. I wouldn’t do this. It’s best to just include the helpers you create in a lib file and include...

Re: Dynon Skyview

Anthony, I started a full blown Skyview system with the additional control panels, VPX integration etc all based on the real instrument but i put on hold due to lack of navigation features. I may get round to picking it up again one day but certainly not anytime soon. I don’t have the Panthera but f...

Re: Using Air Manager with A2A Aircraft

Hi,

It shouldn’t be a problem as long as all the necessary variables are available. A2A have a published list so it’s a good place to start.

Re: Arduino Uno not connecting

If hw_connected() returns true then the device is connected. So yes it can be used to check the connection. Please define a 'device' in relation to a complete board connection ? (as opposed to looking at individual ancillary connections to the device). That would be informative. Device is irrelevan...

Try the hw_connected() function.
I dont believe that is for the actual connection of the device !, it is for the ancillary items.

Re: Arduino Uno not connecting

I have had this working on Uno and Mega, I have tried the demo sketch now and it works, however loading my sketch does not, I have checked all the message port code and it is identical to the demo but it does not work. Is there a critical time between ticks?? Clearly it isn’t identical else it woul...
