Re: Air Manager not showing up

Well, I don't understand it. For two days, this did not work, but today, the screen is back. Everything (except my HSI) worked fine. Go Figure.

Air Manager not showing up

I've been away from my sin for a few days and tonight when I got into it tonight, Air Manager was not working. When I tried to start it, the splash screen appeared as usual, but the next screen with the panels and options did not show up. The icon in the task bar was still there. though. I run five ...

AM 4.2 and suggestion

Is AM 4.2 out yet? I'm running 4.1.6. When (if) it is out, will it automatically update, or will I have to get the new version and manually install it? Also, a suggestion. Is it possible that SI could partner with the creators of third-party software to create paid panels to replicate their planes? ...

Re: 5th monitor -- best way to add

Three series of questions: First, for falcon50: Do I understand correctly that you are running your two GPUs on one computer? If so, does that essentially give you a total of eight ports? Doesn't that kill your CPU efficiency? Second: I have a 4080 to which I hook my monitors, but I also have a WIMA...

Re: jvm.cfg issue

"Software is weird" is an understatement. But your explanation (guess) makes sense. When I need to update again, I will uninstall the old app and get a clean install on the update.

Thanks again. And thanks again for AM and the knobster. Together, they are great immersion enhancers.

Re: jvm.cfg issue

Okay. I uninstalled it, then rebooted my computer (just in case it needed that to delete anything), then I reinstalled it. It opened without any problems. And, I was still logged in to my second version. I still don't know how it could work fine Friday night and then not be fine Saturday night when ...

jvm.cfg issue

I had Air Manager on my laptop. When I got a new computer for flight simming, I transferred my Air Manager license to the new computer. Now I have decided that I want to have it on the laptop also, so I bought a second Air Manager last night. It ran well last night, but when I tried to open it tonig...

Re: Trouble with WINMAXIT monitor

Thanks, both of you. I feel like an idiot, but I had not enabled it in my panel. Once I did, it worked fine. AM is still an amazing program, and the Knobster makes it even better. It is hard to read the instruments on the panel in both MSFS and X-Plane and frequently they are just too dark. What a b...

Re: MORE Trouble with WIMAXIT monitor

To follow up on my previous posts, my screen is now working fine, mostly. The instruments do what they are supposed to do and mimic the ones in the cockpit on the sim. It does not, however, allow me to use the Knobster. When I touch a button, it turns blue instead of yellow and the blue only remains...
