You mean that you're also using Air Manager?
Then you do not need KnobXP. You can remove it from the plugins folder in the X-Plane folder.
\X-Plane\Resources\plugins\

Note that there's no touch support in Air Manager in macOS

Can you try stopping Air Manager, then go to C:\Users\your username\Air Manager\instruments\AMI_HOME_USE_HW_PROTECTED\
remove everything in there and start Air Manager.

Which OS are you using and is your monitor set to 100% scaling?

What do you mean by 'times out'?

I have uploaded a new version of the switch panel. Note that you will have to enable the Knobster mode. Select the instrument from the list in your panel and turn on the Knobster mode.
