It's a bug in Air Player for Raspberry Pi. We'll probably have a new version this week.

You will have to use digital inputs, and work out the magic combination. That's at least how I did it, worked fine.

You'll have to start with the hardware side first. Make sure you can read all different positions with an digital_input_add, then you can start to build the X-Plane code.

You can check the type with the datareftool:

If it contains a . then it's a float, if not then it's probably an integer.
