There's only one in our team using Linux I will have to ask him this coming week. I know that there were some issues with COM ports and sudo rights, you had to to some configuration there yourself. But since pin mode works, that probably isn't it.

All scripts get scanned when Air Manager starts. If there's a serious error in there, then it can lock up.
