Just found this on Kickstarter and wanted to share.

Looks very interesting for cockpit building.
What do you think?
Any possibilities getting this thing running with AM?

If your monitors and the setup is mostly for flightsim, you can think about connecting monitor 3 to a rasperry pi.
You need an air player licence, but you get a piece of dedicated panel.
For me, the invest was on ROI if i compare the time, i used for fiddeling in my 3 monitor setup.

Re: AM 4.x Road-map
As i heard the term EOL here…. Just a question… in the past days, after you bought a cd with licence key for a piece of software you could install it also after the manufacturing company went out of business. Today, with online licence checking or downloading stuff on the fly more and more customers...

Re: dont get my MAX 7219 Hardware Display to work
I totally get the point, i just wanted to give the information, that even if all of you already knew about it and its a „common“ thing, it would be helpful to add the information to the wiki - just the tiny addon „make sure to power each module“ when refering the daisychain should not hurt and would...

Re: dont get my MAX 7219 Hardware Display to work
I think you misunderstood. I am driving the arduino via usb.
Then i have another usb cable from a powered hub. From this cable i only use 5v & Ground for powering the displays.
Usb normally should deliver 1A minimum, so it should be enough for driving 2 displays.

Re: dont get my MAX 7219 Hardware Display to work
did some testing with 10 modules in diffrent combinations and i can add the following: When daisychaining the Power & Ground, i have problems with ~50% of the modules working together in a chain with default brightness. Not enough power for the second display, may some kind of internal voltage d...

Re: dont get my MAX 7219 Hardware Display to work
For future reference.
After connecting power&ground to both modules in parallel and only daisychaining the 3 data lines the problem was gone.

Re: dont get my MAX 7219 Hardware Display to work
Thanks for your help, i also got a problem in the solderpoints as well. Currently i am facing a strange Problem. I created a daisychain of 2 7219 Displays. This code is not working: display_chr_ap = hw_chr_display_add("MAX7219", 2, "ARDUINO_MEGA2560_A_D26", "ARDUINO_MEGA2560...
