Re: HPG Airbus H145 Main Panel with Helionix MFDs

Well said. Definitely the best way. You can bounce ideas off each other and share resources. Exactly. It's great to have others to bounce ideas off of. And in the case of the strengths / weaknesses I mentioned - someone might be better with programming, the other better with graphics. Combining tho...

Re: HPG Airbus H145 Main Panel with Helionix MFDs

I highly recommend that if you're both working on the same aircraft that you get together and combine your efforts. You can make much faster progress that way, and you each may have particular skills that may be the other person's weakness. Or at the very least, coordinate so that you both can work ...

Re: HPG Airbus H145 Main Panel with Helionix MFDs

Is your MFD an overlay or do you plan to do a complete Instrument ? He says " The Popout’s are controlled via the MSFS Popout Panel Manager " so I think it's pretty safe to say it's an overlay only. That said, there's nothing in these instruments that couldn't be built in AM natively and ...

Re: Anyone using a 32" 4K monitor for coding ?

I wasn't much of a fan of curved monitors either before I got this one. I think because most of them were small. I think it's very much a gimmicky thing on small monitors. There's exactly zero need for a curve on a 16:9 monitor, and zero need on any monitor smaller than 32". On larger UW screen...

Re: Loupedeck integration

It's much like using a StreamDeck with your sim. You don't use the device to control Air Manager. You use it as a supplemental hardware device to control stuff in the sim.

Re: Anyone using a 32" 4K monitor for coding ?

My main monitor for all purposes is a 34" UW at 3440 x 1440 with a nice 18R curve. I quite like it. I find it's a perfect monitor for everything from coding, photo / video editing, general purpose use, and gaming. That said, I also have a 27" 4K monitor on the side as well. I can't get by ...

Re: MSFS2020 King Air 350i Autopilot FLC Button Event ID

Stubenflieger The King Air should work with default MSFS events vs having custom lvars and events like the CJ4. It's a little more complicated than a simple toggle event though. First, you need to subscribe to the AUTOPILOT FLIGHT LEVEL CHANGE (Bool) variable in order to get the current state of FL...

Re: Premium Garmin G5 question MSFS

@blokovchan - XBox controller is attached to my yoke using strips of adhesive velcro. I use extra buttons for stuff like opening ATC window, pause, and other random stuff. Before I got a TrackIR, I used to use the analog sticks for free look. Now I mostly use it for drone control.

Re: Premium Garmin G5 question MSFS

It works fine with the C310. Been using it in my layout since the C310 launched as per the attached image. Note the only thing that doesn't seem to work in the G5 in MSFS is the RNAV glideslope indicator. RNAV works, you just won't see the magenta indicator on the G5. The green ILS indicator works f...
