Air Player upgrade v4

Hello to everybody,

my question is related to upgrade from Raspberry AP v3.7 to v4, in particular I wish to know how to maintain the actual panel configuration and some others customisations (... like RPI shutdown button) on SD card eventually without whole reformatting.

Thanks.

Re: RPI Power off

That's my point :) It's not the proper way to shut down the Pi. It'll probably be alright for most of the time, but you'll always have the risk of corrupting the SD card. Ok, I'll follow your suggestion Ralph, and will try to add a dedicated hardware switch for shutting down RPI from Air Manager. T...

Re: RPI Power off

You can either turn it off from Air Manager or use this: http://siminnovations.com/wiki/index.php?title=Shut_down Yes Ralph, I know this option, my question is oriented to know if the switch that is present on the power cable that now I'm using for powering on/off could be dangerous for RPI SD card.

RPI Power off

Hi to all, I'm completing my C172 homebuilt cockpit drived by an RPI and just prior to finish cable routing I've a doubt... :?: In many web page articles I've read that is dangerous for internal RPI SD card, interrupt power by pulling or pushing the plug for shutdown! My RPI power cable has a switch...

Works fine here. You can check the log.txt to see if there's a hint. It's in the Air Manager folder in the user folder.
I've installed sw for MacOS High Sierra ...

Don't worry, we moved to a new server. It's all back to normal now.

AirManager_screen.jpeg Hi to all, ... today is happened the same problem with my C172 panel ! It is not available the "Attitude indicator" and there is no way to reload into my previous fully functional panel. Re: Airplayer RPI & hardware adding

You could easily make it work without the hardware script. You just need to send the command for annunciator test depending on the state of a button. You can look at the code in the AM 4 hardware that Ralph referenced if you don’t know how to code this. It works!! .... :D I've followed your clever ...

Isn't that Saitek thing triggered by the sim? A annunciator test button can easily be added as a pre-made hardware function in Air Manager 4.
Yes, I wish to add a simple test button for C172 annunciator panel. Is this hardware pre-made function available for Air Manager 3 for RPI too ?
