Not sure why you are using AM for this. Why not just create a panel config file that has your transponder in it as a windowed object, then in the P3D vehicle tab tell it to show that window. Then save the scenario and you will have that transponder on every session. My guess is that the transponder ...

Yes - sadly you might be stuck because I think you are the only person in the entire world that has this problem. As suggested, you need to eliminate any source of inputs from your system to troubleshoot this. Not sure if this is a good approach, but you could look at FSUIPC if installed and use it'...

It can't be a "normal" AM issue since no one else has reported this. I would suggest that you completely remove AM and any file/folders it installed and re-do the installation.
AM does not issue any commands on its own without a script running or a gauge loaded.

If you add all of one panel to a layer, then the other panel to another layer, can't you just set the visibility of the desired layer on and off? I use that technique all the time to hide and show panel components including letting P3D gauges show through holes in my AM panels as desired. For exampl...

Go into Device Manager in Windows, then select PORTS. It will show you which port is being used. If still confused (if there is more than one) simply unplug your device and see what is left in the Device Manager PORTS listing.
