Re: KnobFS BETA build
Fantastic utility! I've had an enforced absence from flying for a while and only now getting back to it. I dipped my toe into VR a while back with a Rift S, but I couldn't get it smooth enough to stop me feeling nauseous every flight so I canned that. I also couldn't focus on the instruments without...

Re: Knobster v2 channel
Thanks Ralph, but that video only shows how to plug it in and how to select it in Air Manager - it doesn't include anything about whether it can be flashed to a different channel or whether it's locked to Channel A. I've been happily using the Knobster for many months now. I'm asking if it can be re...

Knobster v2 channel
Hi. Is the Knobster (v2, not DIY) only able to operate on Channel A or can it be reflashed to a different channel? For context, my son has (very generously!) bought me a ready made Cessna 172 panel from Altimeter Motives and it is already flashed to Channel A. When I run it with the Knobster it does...

Re: Different 172 panels
Absolutely old chap!, Definitely no need to pay if its all there to officially dl for free. I could have sworn it was the radio panel but that is not the case from what I see. Weird. Hopefully someone can help? I think Ralph is away until Tuesday so will have limited time to offer an answer, but ho...

Re: Different 172 panels
lol! I could do without that at the moment - lockdowns have made this particular freelancer a very poor chap who should not really be spending money on this hobby!!
If you do get a chance to have a peek at some time I'd appreciate it. Cheers

Re: Different 172 panels
I did read it, thanks, and I am trying to explain that this all appears to be included in the free version! I've attached screenshots if you'd prefer to see it for yourself rather than take my word for it! ;) The first image shows what I am currently using in Air Manager. It is the full HD panel, co...

Re: Different 172 panels
It all seems to be absolutely identical, but that's just from the screenshots of the Premium Panel, so there may well be performance or functional differences. I'd be happy to part with the ten euros, so if anyone can shed any light I'd be interested!

Re: Different 172 panels
Thanks jph. I see now that if you click 'more information' on each listing it takes you to the less than useful descriptions, but if you double click on the listing, you're taken to a sub-selection of panels that are described in more detail. Not very intuitive! The Full HD panel (free) looks absolu...

Re: Different 172 panels
Thanks Ralph, but the descriptions are not that helpful! 172SP: The Cessna 172SP panel lets you handle al the main controls from one panel. From powering your aircraft to full flight and instrument navigation. The panel is modeled after the popular Cessna 172 Skyhawk SP. 172SP AFL: The Cessna 172SP ...
