Re: Park Brake in Air Manager & P3Dv5 with Arduino Mega

Hi there Mark & Ralph, I've managed to get multi-monitor views working in FS2020 using P34D as the driver. I achieved this just today and thought, because of the way this thread went, that you two might be interested. If you want to see it here is the link:- https://www.facebook.com/groups/flightsim...

Re: Landing Gear Warning

Thanks for having this discussion where I can see it - watch - and learn. I have been silent because:- first of all, Air Manager stopped accepting input from me in the Edit/Create tab; then P3D (on a different PC) stopped accepting critical input from me via the keyboard and presented me with a 'col...

Re: Landing Gear Warning

Hi Keith. Thanks for your welcome. I believe that I have a good level of understanding of AM (not 'advanced'). Coding experience - I have written and deployed windows based applications (Visual Studio) to the advantage of my employers. In flight simulation I started writing code in the Arduino IDE u...

Landing Gear Warning

I am starting to write the code for my annunciator instrument. Starting with the "Gear Unsafe" annunciator LED, I haven't got far before getting confused I'm afraid. Looking through the P3D variables list I've come across one called "GEAR WARNING". If this was a boolean variable then, I could light ...

Re: Park Brake in Air Manager & P3Dv5 with Arduino Mega

Hi Raph, I meant to say that the parking brake in the simulator doesn't change. However, I have discovered two things since my original post:- 1. I was looking at the wrong item in my P3D main cockpit view. The Park Brake handle is obscured by the Yoke handle so the yoke needs to be held hard right ...

Park Brake in Air Manager & P3Dv5 with Arduino Mega

I have moved to P3Dv5 from FSX. I had my cockpit hardware working fairly well but of course all the code was written for XP11. Now I am starting again and getting my head around events and variables. For a couple of weeks I have been working on what I know is a fairly basic project - Parking Brake. ...

Re: simMAX gear and flaps.

How did you get on with this? The link you included in your post also includes a link to a tutorial about hooking it up. Did you see that? Some time ago I successfully installed their TPM control and their Compass. They provided me with clear tutorials and their man Simon was always available to ans...
