I know from experience that you can't use a fake Nano for the DIY Knobster. It has to register correctly in Windows first before you can flash it. I just can't figure out why the same hardware reports differently on two different Win10 PC's.

Odd problem here. I have AM installed on my fully updated older Win 10 PC and my official Nano is registered properly as a USB (COM7) device with an FTDI driver.
