Re: GS HSI knob problem
For the benefit of anyone else who had this issue, mine was not realising that the bezel needs to be configured as well as the display - both bezels were set to device 1 which resulted in the symptoms. It just needed the bottom bezel to be configured to 2 as well as the bottom display.

GS HSI knob problem
I configured 2x Air Manager G5 HSI on an Air Manager 4.1.6 desktop panel, top one as PFD, bottom as HSI. X-plane 11.55 I've configured each to be PFD and HSI respectively, and set the bottom unit to be device number 2. When I press or turn the HSI knob using knobster, it drives the top PFD. This ...

Re: 4K touchscreen
Thanks, that's quite helpful feedback.
Perhaps a smaller 4K screen might suffice, but I haven't managed to source a 4K 24 inch touchscreen. They all seem to be either much larger (!!) or smaller.

Re: Garmin G1000 - Dynamic streaming edition
This sounds quite exciting! If I understand it correctly, this would run on standard touchscreen with Knobster and not require any external physical hardware (like RealSimGear). Could you indicate when this might be available, either for Beta testing or as finished product. Will it be included as a ...

4K touchscreen
I have been using a 24 inch Dell touchscreen with a lot of success for Air Manager, but lately finding that some of the higher resolution glass instruments have to be scaled up to take up more screen space so they can be read properly. There are now some competitively priced 4K touchscreens ...

nav_get overload?
I'm using nav_get with X-plane running to lookup ICAO codes entered into a NAVCOM radio and return the frequencies. An ICAO code is entered one letter at a time, and it is possible to scroll through the last letter quite quickly to select it. This seems to work OK provided that I scroll through ...

Re: X-Plane 12 - Bug Fixes following
After some time waiting for it to become more stable, I'm about to make the upgrade to X-plane 12. After installing X-plane 12, you only have to run the Air manager plugin installer so that the plugin for X-plane 12 is also on your system. Other plugins and scenery may also need reinstalling. I didn ...

Re: Seeking GTN 650 Bezel
I have exactly the same setup - GTN 650 and KX165A which matches my real-world aircraft.
It sounds like you have both radios configured as COM1. There are two separate KX165A TSO instruments in the library.
Download and install the COM2 variant and see if that resolves the issue.

How to migrate to new or radically upgraded computer
I've been able to invest in a more powerful computer and so require to migrate X-plane and Air Manager across to the new PC. X-plane seems to be as straightforward as copying all the X-plane directory files and re-entering the licence code. Before I complete this for Air Manager, I wanted to check ...

Re: Black hole - configurable transparent hole in panel background
I can quite understand your approach, and for those with a lot of experience and skills in graphic formats and tools, and where the positioning doesn't change much then it makes sense. However when I first started out, it took me a while to get to grips with all that. I was particularly confused by ...
