Re: XP11 C172SP G1000 Switch Panel

Ralph, just wanting to learn something here. Is the reason I cannot disable that one switch from the knobster is that I do not have access to the code for the knobster? BTW, where is the code for the knobster?

SimCoders X_Plane C172 REP RPM and Vertical Speed indicators not working

I have the X-Plane C172 SimCoders REP with all instruments working in the 3D cockpit. I also have the AM "Paid For" Cessna 172 instrument panel developed for the SimCoders. However, the Engine RPM and Vertical Speed indicators do not work. Both instrument's needles remain solid zero like they are no...

Re: XP11 C172SP G1000 Switch Panel

Thank you Sling. Yes, I did try but nothing happens. I did not know about the three way switches attracting the knobster. But of course I cannot do anything about that aspect of the knobster since I don't have the code. I did notice Russ Barlow is the author of that switch panel but I don't know how...

XP11 C172SP G1000 Switch Panel

In the paid Cessna 172 panels for XP11, there is a C172SP G1000 instrument panel. In the lower left of the over all panel, there is a switch panel. At the top of that panel is a three way Standby Bus switch. When I touch the switch (touchscreen monitor) the switch highlights in yellow ready for inpu...

Re: Create/Edit

Thanks guys, fair enough. But it appears that there should be a note in the AM manual to that fact. It didn't occur to me but it does make sense. And since it didn't occur to me I spent a lot of time trying to get the instruments to show and while some "paid for" panel instruments did show, some did...

Create/Edit

I know this is very basic and I apologize for having to ask. How do you get the instruments that I have to show when the Create/Edit tab is selected. For example, I have some C182 paid panels that I am using and the instruments for the panels show under the Panels tab (first tab) but when I go to th...

Re: New to Sim Innovations and Purchased Panels

Gilles, Just to see if you had any success with the data ref and the Carenado G1000 planes. I went into the Laminar G1000 C-172 and was able to change the data ref to 0 and it stayed 0. Fixed the problem. Went back into the Carenado planes (both the C172 and the C182) and while I could change the va...

Re: New to Sim Innovations and Purchased Panels

Gilles, Greetings. I happen to see your post with the black background on the PFD. I pulled up the DataRef and found the Sim/Graphics/misc/kill_g1000_ah=1. Every time I changed it to 0 it went back to 1. How do you make that value stick to 0? I have the Carenado plane and it is in color on the plane...
