Re: Displays for small gauges

Joe, RPi4 with AM only has one hdmi output enabled, :( I have been down that route with Ralph and Corjan when RPI 4 was first made comparable with AM. Let me stew on it a bit. Keith Ah ! apologies brother / I wasn't aware of that.. I am, at this moment, trying to explore access to RPi .. will repor...

I need to run via an arduino using tft if possable. Can you elaborate please brother ? What size and resolution ? also, what controller IC is on the display (most important) Driving a TFT display from an Arduino is typically fairly - well - REALLY slow. Re: Forum regularly spammed

If Discord becomes the main thing, then you can be sure there will be spam too in the future. abso-fecking-lutely ;) ;) I can assure you it will never become the 'main thing'. In the same way that faeces-book, TWATTER or similar will also never become SERIOUS support platforms for s, very spe...

Re: Forum regularly spammed

I honestly think that the discord server could be the way to go moving forward. I can also honestly say that I believe you are 100% wrong in that for this kind of help and general forum - the 'discord' etc would NEVER be the answer. It is a for a very niche user base and usage. Don't try fix someth...

Re: Displays for small gauges

Good morning brother :D I would say it is a definite no-no. Unfortunately. It is a very rare driver IC with no info available (of use) I would recommend that you consider a screen that is driven by HDMI. Such as https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005001883126489.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.0.0.256e1c9f...

Re: Scam Bots

Spammers are everywhere. Email, websites, and also on forums. We look at the forums a couple times per day and remove any spam there is. I'm not in favor of manually confirming all new users. If you want to look at the forums is your choice :) Although I may well be in favour of having a sand...

Re: Uno not recognized

Hi John, Glad you got it sorted. This is not aimed at you, it is a general post to all the 'clone' 'genuine' 'copy' etc other posters. Any use of the terms above is almost certainly totally misleading and in most cases incorrect. there is a difference between 'seeing' a board - for example - on a co...
